Welcome to our wedding website! We can’t wait to celebrate our wedding with all of you in London on December 20, 2015. Until then, you will find all the details of the big day here.
The Happy Couple
Jana is a big dreamer with a penchant for following through on her dreams. When she was a teenager she moved to the big city to study Cinema, Film and Advertising, then to England where she met Rob and studied for her MA in Editing. Having worked in Cinema in Los Angeles and with startups in Silicon Valley, she's now an accomplished web designer and all-round media editor.
Rob, who is the luckiest guy in the world, grew up in the UK and always wanted to travel. He met his soul mate in a bar in London while studying for his PhD in Music Information Retrieval. After an internship in Barcelona he landed his dream job working for a music tech startup in California and is now a developer specialising in music and big data.
In 1985 the world was introduced to the first dot com and Back to the Future. Then on Valentines day Rob was born near a town called Leighton Buzzard and on Halloween came Jana, in much sunnier town called Lagoa dos Três Cantos, ten thousand kilometers away.
By 2008 both had moved to London and on one fateful Friday night the pair met at a bar called The Redback on March the 14th. Despite communication issues the two had an instant connection and have been together since.
